"Let my

teaching

fall like rain

on tender

plants."

Our dream—our vision for children’s ministry is a place where children have so much fun learning about how awesome God is that they don't want to miss a single time. A place where the worship music is so contemporary and engaging that the children leave the building humming the tunes and singing the words that help them remember biblical truths every day of the week!  A place where parents are begging for “those songs and lessons” that their kids are learning, so they can teach them at home too.  A place where video, drama and communicators are effectively used to teach this media-driven generation about how to live the Christian life at school, at home and in their everyday life. A place where volunteers are serving with joy and passion, knowing they are influencing the next generation of Christ's disciples.   A place we call the Splash Zone.

Children's Ministry

Children at Palmetto First Baptist

Children are very important to the church family of Palmetto First Baptist. We have something for every child from cradle through the pre-teen years of sixth grade. From Sunday through Friday, our church ministers to children and their parents through Bible study, music, mission work, after-school care, day care and just plain fun.

Volunteers Are Special

Want to Volunteer?  We would love to have you! Volunteers are always needed for Children's Ministry Activities at First Baptist of Palmetto. For more information on volunteer needs, please contact the Children's Ministry Office at 941.722.7795.

"777"

When you see "777" on the display panels located in the Worship Center, what does it mean? It means that we have an abundant blessing of little children that need some extra hearts and hands to help us in preschool for just one hour on Sunday mornings. If you are a member of FBC and see “777” on the display panels located in the Worship Center, we need you to report to the preschool area where a smiling face will greet you and show you where you can serve.
