Our mission is to lead students into a growing relationship with Jesus Christ by creating settings where students prioritize their relationships with Christ, influence their friends, and experience personal ministry.

June 8th-12th

Summer Youth Camp will be at Covenant College in Lookout Mountain, Georgia in June.  The total cost for camp is $150 per student.  Fund raisers are in the works to help offset the total cost of the trip.  For more information, contact the Youth Ministry Office at 941-722-7795.

Scholarships are welcome.  Please call the office for more information.

We meet in the "Baptistry Area"  on the second floor of the main church building.  (click here for location)

Pray for God's direction for a new and exciting Youth Area and, in the meantime, come join us on the second floor!

9:15 am:  Join us for Sunday School as we will dive in each week to study the Student Life curriculum "Christ".  After an opening session we will break into our age graded departments for deeper study.

5-6 pm:  Join us as we discover our Spiritual Gifts

6-7 pm:  Worship Time

7-8:30 pm:  Pizza & Games in the gym

 

6:45 - 8 pm Wednesdays!  Meet in the Catalyst Room off the Baptistry area on the second floor.

Come be a part of a mid-week opportunity to hang out with your friends, play games, worship with the youth band and hear messages that are relative, challenging and deep in God's Word.

The Local Bible Bee!

A refreshing and stimulating Bible memory competition for individual students ages 7-18 years.

Local Contest is at Palmetto First Baptist on September 12, 2009

Come see what the buzz is all about!  Compete against other children and youth in your area and test your Bible knowledge in this one day competition.  The competition will be comprised of a written test of Bible trivia and an oral section of Bible verse memorization.  Study Materials will be available May 1st.  Bee There!
