Senior's Joyful Hearts Ministry

Joyful Hearts Puppet Ministry

Puppets have become an exciting part of our Adult 55+ membership. The Gospel of Jesus Christ is being shared in many places through a non-threatening environment and with a lot of fun. Our prayers are that YOU will pray and consider becoming a vital part of this ministry. Puppeteers, prop personnel, helpers, drivers and folks just to go and pray during the performances are needed.

Gordon and Sylvia Daugherty can answer all your questions and sign you up. Call them at 941.722.4657 or show up for their Wednesday 3:30pm rehearsals right here at church.

Love Gift Bag Ministry

This ministry provides a special bag filled with seven days of surprises and words of encouragement for our hospitalized, homebound or rest home loved ones. The first Thursday of every month at 10 am finds our team of Adult 55+ ladies in the Conference Room fellowshipping and stuffing bags with goodies. Ginny Brockway and Carole McPhee head up this ministry and are always looking for recruits.  No formal invitation is required.  Join us anytime.

Trips

Joyful Hearts Ministries is sponsoring a trip along with “Celebrators” in Gatlinburg, Tennessee October 26-31, 2008. A $25 deposit is required by July 18 with total cost of trip estimated at $400 plus meals. Contact the office or Cathy Ridenour for more information.
