F.A.I.T.H. Riders Update
Holman Bible Outreach International and F.A.I.T.H. Riders has produced an outreach tool targeting motorcycle enthusiasts entitled: "Many Roads One Path" New Testament. This New Testament includes many useable pages for the biker and also includes the testimony of the national direction of F.A.I.T.H. Riders, Buddy Newsome.
"Rumble For Kids Ride" benefitting the Florida Baptist Children's Home will take place September 12, 2009. Check out the website for this event and be sure to register now, www.rumbleforkids.org.
Lt. Colonel Oliver North (Ret. USMC) gave inspiring personal testimony about what Christ has done in his life as he shared with the F.A.I.T.H. Riders Rallye to Ridgecrest on May 23-25. The rain may have dampened the ride to the Veteran's Memorial Cemetery but not the spirits of the participants as they spread out over the cemetery to pray for the families of our fallen soldiers. Director Bill Bennet, Rick Hedrick, Bob & Karen Glover, Alva & Arlene McMillion and Joe & Debbie Choate enjoyed the inspiring messages by Colonel North and Director of Evangelism Dave Burton as well as the times of fellowship together.
A Saturday morning ride to Mount Mitchell found us shivering and appreciating those hot cups of coffee and cappucinos as the chilly, drizzely, damp, windy 52 degree weather accompanied us on that ride. A great time was had by all! (Really!!)
