King's Kids is an after-school child-care program for children in Kindergarten through Fifth grade.
King's Kids exists to provide quality care for children in a safe, loving Christian environment, with the long range goal of the children coming to know Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior. There are plenty of opportunities for your child to play in a safe environment with adult supervision. Rules & Guidelines:
- Respect other people and their belongings.
- Listen to staff members and do what they ask.
- If someone is bothering you, ask them nicely to stop. If they don’t stop, let a staff member know.
- Don’t hit, yell or tell someone to “shut up”.
- Always use appropriate language. (No cussing or name calling.)
- Clean up after yourself.
- Leave all electronic games and devices at home.
- Gum is not allowed at King’s Kids.
- You may come to the office at any time if you are hurt, don’t feel well or have a problem.
Discipline Policy:
First Offense: Talk to the child and explain the behavior change they need to make.
Second Offense: Explain to the child the rule they have broken. Give them timeout to think about it.
Third Offense: Discussion with the parents.
Other Options: Clean up crew for snack room; writing lines; carrying another student’s backpack if they have disrespected them.
Students who have disagreements with each other are asked to sit and discuss the situation, what they want to do about it and decide how they want to relate to each other the rest of the day.
