Newars
We, the members of First Baptist Church of Palmetto, Florida on the 20th day of January, 2002 A.D. adopted The Newari People of Nepal and thereby assumed responsibility of partnering with the International Mission Board of the Southern Baptist Convention and with other agencies to establish a strong, indigenous church planting movement among the Newari People that is of sufficient size and strength to evangelize the rest of that people group on its own. This we do in dependence upon the power and provision of the Holy Spirit, all to the praise and glory of our Lord Jesus Christ.
