Wedding Policies and Guidelines

It is a requirement of First Baptist that the bride and groom are believers as only Christian marriages will take place at First Baptist. In addition, the bride and/or groom must be a regular attending member of First Baptist Church of Palmetto for at least six months prior to the wedding. 

Palmetto First Baptist Church is dedicated to Christian worship, evangelism, education, world missions, church recreation and the development of Christian character and life. All use of the church property should reflect this purpose to the glory of God.

Weddings give us an opportunity to minister and support our church families. The music and all related activities should honor the Lord. We look forward to sharing in this sacred and significant time with you.
