1 - PRAY – 2 Chronicles 7:14 says “If my people who are called by my name humble themselves, and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and heal their land.” Join us at 9 am in the Worship Center where we will spread out over the room and call out to the Lord for the healing of our land and for our church as we gather to minister to others.
2 - F.E.L.T. PAINTING – Feeding Empty Little Tummies (F.E.L.T.) has a new home on 8th Street W, in Palmetto. Meet at the building at 8 am with your brushes and rollers as we paint the exterior of the building.
3 - SELAH FREEDOM PAINTING AND PLANTING - Our church continues to partner with Selah Freedom (an organization supporting survivors of sex trafficking) in Manatee County to help them maintain their facilities. We will be painting the interior of one of the buildings on their campus as well as planting some bushes and mulching around the outside. Meet at the church at 8 am to carpool to the location.Bring your favorite paint/ trim brushes, rollers, rakes, shovels, work gloves and bottled water. Given the discrete location and nature of this project, a non-disclosure form is required - which can be filled out here.
4 - NEIGHBORS NEEDING HELP - Several families, widows, and church members are in need of some yard work and home clean up.  Meet at the church at 8 am to carpool to the location. Bring rakes, clippers, work gloves and bottled water.
5 - FOOD COLLECTION AT CHURCH – Please come by the church between 8 am and noon to drop off any non-perishable food you would like to donate to the food bank. Their needs include: canned tuna, peanut butter, canned vegetables, apple sauce.
6 - WALMART FOOD COLLECTION – The Manatee Food Bank has been depleted during this COVID season. Sign up and we will call you with a time slot for manning the food collection at Wal-Mart in Palmetto.
7 - QUILT DISTRIBUTION – We have been gifted with 75 quilts that we would like to use for inviting people to church or blessing friends, neighbors or our shut ins. Please come by the church between 8 am and 9 am on SERVE Saturday to pick up one or more quilts to take to homes or nursing homes. We also have some baby/children’s quilts to give to families with babies or young children you would like to bless. Please sign up for the number of quilts you would like to pick up and we will provide you with names and addresses if you need them. 
8 - NEW HOPE BAPTIST CHURCH - New Hope Baptist Church at 9422 Old Tampa Rd, Parrish, is in need of tree trimming and spreading mulch. They will be providing some of their own people for this workday so sign up to come alongside these fellow Christians. Bring work gloves, tree clippers, rakes and bottled water.
9 - SHOPPING FOR PALM VIEW ELEMENTARY TEACHERS – We partner with this school and want to fulfill the “wants and needs” list for the teachers and students. We will divide into a few very small groups and you will be given a list of items to purchase. Upon completion we will make gift bags that will be delivered on Monday after Serve.
10 - PALMETTO HIGH SCHOOL FACULTY – We partner with this school and want to fulfill the “wants and needs” list for the teachers and students. We will divide into a few very small groups and you will be given a list of items to purchase. Upon completion we will make gift bags that will be delivered on Monday after Serve.
11 - SEWING PROJECTS – We will be sewing ditty bags to give to the Anchor House for their sailors who enter our port. We will spread out in a couple of rooms to provide social distancing. This will begin at 8 am in Room 129 of the church.
12 - CITY OF PALMETTO - The city of Palmetto needs volunteers to help mark 123 unidentified storm drains. They will provide a stencil for the marking. They also need volunteers to pick up trash along the Green Bridge. Trash pickup tools would be provided.
13 - ANCHOR HOUSE SHOPPING - Shop for supplies for ditty bags for the international seafarers.  A list of items will be provided. 
14 - FBC PALMETTO – One of our regular projects but so important to our ministries, is vacuuming our black chairs for the Encounter service. Please meet at the church at 8:30 am and bring your vacuum if you have one. It will only take a couple of hours to do the chairs in the gym and the choir room. This is a light project where almost anyone can participate with social distancing.
15 - LAUNDROMATS - Provide quarters for patrons to use in washers and dryers and hand out Spanish tracts and Bibles.
16 - PALMETTO POLICE DEPARTMENT - Provide lunch and make goodie bags to encourage the officers.
