What Is King’s Kids?

King’s Kids is an after-school-care program for children in Kindergarten through fifth grade.

King’s Kids exists to provide quality care for children in a safe, loving Christian environment, with the long range goal of the children coming to know Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior. There are plenty of opportunities for your child to play in a safe environment with adult supervision. Coloring, crafts, large group games, homework time and playground activities are all a part of your child’s experience at King’s Kids.

Daily at King’s Kids

There is time to play in the gym as buses arrive from Palmetto, Rowlett, Palmetto Charter & Wakeland Elementary Schools.

Choice Time: Homework assistance; large group games; coloring; crafts; quiet games; home living area.

Clean up: Gather backpacks and belongings and go outside.

Who is eligible?

Children who are enrolled in Kindergarten through the fifth grades.

Is there after school transportation?

Yes, King’s Kids can provide after-school transportation from Palmetto Elementary and Palmetto Charter School.

What are the dates and hours?

Monday – Friday (after school care only) 2:30 pm – 5:30 pm

The after school program coincides with the Manatee County public school year. When there are early release days, King’s Kids will be available to receive your children early.

Please Note: King’s Kids is closed on days that public schools are closed.

What should my kids wear?

Each student should wear school or play clothes and closed toed shoes~tennis shoes are preferred.
No sandals or flip flops!

Will food or snacks be served?

Yes, King’s Kids will provide a snack in the afternoon for each child.
