“Long ago, at many times and in many ways, God spoke to our fathers by the prophets, but in these last days he has spoken to us by his Son, whom he appointed the heir of all things, through whom also he created the world. He is the radiance of the glory of God and the exact imprint of his nature, and he upholds the universe by the word of his power. After making purification for sins, he sat down at the right hand of the Majesty on high, having become as much superior to angels as the name he has inherited is more excellent than theirs.”
- What do these four verses tell us about who Jesus is?
- Verses one and two talk about God’s timing. How does the fact that everything happens in God’s time change the way you plan your life?
- What is one area of your life where trusting God’s timing has been difficult?
- How does understanding who Jesus is help you to trust His plan for your life?
Circle everything these verses say Jesus is and underline all the things these verses say Jesus does.
Thank God that he has a plan for your life, ask God to help you trust that plan. Ask God to help you live your life in His timing without striving to get ahead of Him or lagging behind Him.
