By Kenny Tibbetts

As he passed by, he saw a man blind from birth. And his disciples asked him, “Rabbi, who sinned, this man or his parents, that he was born blind?” Jesus answered, “It was not that this man sinned, or his parents, but that the works of God might be displayed in him.”
John 9:1-3

  1. How had Jesus’ disciples misunderstood the situation?
  1. To what did Jesus attribute the man’s blindness?
  1. Have you even considered that your struggle might exist so God could be glorified in it?

Take a few moments to memorize John 9:5:
“As long as I am in the world, I am the light of the world.”

Pray for those in our community who don’t know Jesus. Pray that the lost and hurting would find the comfort and salvation that only comes in knowing Jesus Christ.
