By Phillip Hamm
“And you were dead in the trespasses and sins in which you once walked, following the course of this world, following the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that is now at work in the sons of disobedience— among whom we all once lived in the passions of our flesh, carrying out the desires of the body and the mind, and were by nature children of wrath, like the rest of mankind.”
- What does it mean to be spiritually dead?
- How did we get in that condition?
- What would God’s wrath look like?
In the space below list a few areas of life most people label as “gray” areas − those activities that we wouldn’t label as sin. How does God feel about those? Did you list any from your life or just ones you see in the lives of others? Why are we tolerant of sin in our life?
Lord, help me to see sin the way You see sin. Expose in my life those sinful areas that I excuse.
