“Gracious is the LORD, and righteous; our God is merciful. The LORD preserves the simple; when I was brought low, he saved me. Return, O my soul, to your rest; for the LORD has dealt bountifully with you. For you have delivered my soul from death, my eyes from tears, my feet from stumbling; I will walk before the LORD in the land of the living.” Psalm 116: 5-9
- Take a moment and underline everywhere the Psalmist says that God Now, circle the things that the Psalmist says God does.
- Can you think of someone in your life who is an example of “walking before the Lord?”
- How can you “walk before the Lord” today?
In verse 7 the psalmist speaks to his own soul. Remind yourself, and your soul, who God is today. Tell your soul that Jesus Christ is Lord and He died in your place so you might have joy everlasting.
