By Kenny Tibbetts

“Or who shut in the sea with doors when it burst out from the womb, when I made clouds its garment and thick darkness its swaddling band, and prescribed limits for it and set bars and doors, and said, ‘Thus far shall you come, and no farther, and here shall your proud waves be stayed?’”
Job 38:8-11

  1. Why do you think God asks these questions of Job?
  1. Are there times in your life when you need to be reminded who God is and who you are?
  1. Did you use your imagination to picture God actually carving the bottoms of the oceans and setting the shore to stop it?

Finish reading Job 38 and consider who God is and how that changes the way you view your circumstances.

Thank God simply for being who He is. Ask Him to remind you how big He really is and how small our problems are in comparison.
